The primary source verification process is completed at the Credentials Verification Center. The file is then released to the hospital(s) where you have applied for final review and processing through the Medical Staff Office at each facility. Your file is reviewed and a recommendation made by the Department Chair, Credentials Committee and Medical Executive Committee. These recommendations are forwarded to the Board of Trustees and this body approves your membership and/or privileges. Our diligence in this process can take some time and we appreciate your patience.
Meditech & Application Education Session
It is important to note that you will NOT be able to place orders or document in the electronic medical record until you have watched any appropriate educational videos and attend a Meditech & Application Education Session. This session covers important applications such as Meditech, PatientKeeper and Horizon Patient Folder.
You may choose to train at any available class, even if it is not on your main hospital campus.
In order to accommodate those who would prefer to meet remotely and changing COVID-19 regulations, our team will host one WebEx remote training session monthly. If interested in remote training, please contact the Service Desk at (303) 584-2232.

Please watch any videos that are applicable to your specialty's workflow (admit, discharge, other orders, documentation) and then sign-up for a Meditech & Applications Educational Session that is most convenient for your schedule. These steps may be required to be enrolled for system access at your facility.
Note: Meditech & Applications Educational Sessions include education on all HealthONE/HCA systems, such as PatientKeeper, Horizon Patient Folder and Mobile Heartbeat. You should attend a training session, even if you've utilized Meditech in the past.
